Found it. True dat.

SvXchica,

Sorry to mess with you. www.nasioc.com is the big subaru board on the web (but has almost no SVX coverage). Any time a female signs up she is bombarded with requests for pictures. I have been on that board for years and here for only a month, so it's hard to teach an old dog new tricks.

So what are you eating in that pic? A wedge of cheese?

I edited your post for you .

Stay away from NASIOC; they're just a big bunch of ricers who think Subaru's are meant for body kits, 20in rims and neon lights. They forget about the AWD part of Subaru's. Even us Legacy people stay away from them...NASIOC people tend to be uncultured.

Not taking the bait, holmeslice. All I can say is

Baddass like a monster Supra.

http://www.subaru-svx.net/forum/showthread.php?t=28520

But yeah, it is essentially an Impreza club with some decent Legacy and Forester coverage but zilch on teh Alcyone.

Let's face it. We drive Peugeots.

Rare, odd, out-of-production enthusiast cars that are expensive to maintain and which require parts that are slowly becoming unavailable.

So back to the topic, I'm going to shop for my tranny and rear diff tomorrow. I'll post back if I come up with any compatibility information on the 2.5RS 4EAT 4.44 LSD rear. I think svxfiles has the tranny covered, as his car has the exact same trans code as the one I'm looking at.

If you have all the records of your car it would also help, that way you would know what was done and when, I have every file ever printed for my car, thats why i wasn't worried about the tranny and all that jazz, I still need all new wheel bearings(sp, off today ) and such, no matter what you do with these you will always need to spend more, you pay for on thing and you need another to, but if you love the car as much as most of us on the network do, you end up sacraficing alot to be able to keep and drive your SVX. if most of the major problems haven't been adressed it actually might not be a bad idea to think about selling it or trading it in, the can become really expensive really fast.

Hey, Since i'm from Asheville, I coudl help you out with some stuff. Prestige Subaru is USUALLY pretty good with the SVX, I take mine there a lot when stuff goes wrong. They are pretty expensive, like most stealorships, but most of the guys there know about the SVX, which is def. a good thing.

Check with "Gotsubarus" from this board, he can probably help you out with another tranny, much cheaper than a dealer....he is in NC also....
