Tint Yes or No?

Should I tint it or not If I do I'm going dark and will be doing it myself and not going the cheap route that I did with the Teg.

I like it on other cars but not an svx because it takes away from the window design. I did mine twice and liked it for a few months then it had to go. If you live in AZ or FLA then your stuck you need it. I think I really don't like it on 2 tone svxii. All red, black etc. is nice. But not too dark. or blueish. or god forbid purpleish

In some locales tinting has nothing to do with asthetics and everything to do with preserving the interior. Personally, I love the dark tint on top...in fact wish mine was darker....makes a sharp contrast with the body color. Oh, and I have to have tint to save my leather in the hi-desert heat.

The Teg was the learning curve and I've since done several friends cars so I have practice and am not doing the job with 6 inch strips everywhere but the front side windows.
Not a Pro but definitly know whats going on. And no more off brand walmart crap either

agreed on the blueish and purple..no good....but I have to argue that the tint causes a more dramatic effect when the windows are 'down'..I agree some of the window in window effect is subdued with the windows up..but the design is still clearly there..to each their own of course..

My car came with a (gray) window tint slightly darker than the fixed glass, maybe 20%/10%, which actually accentuates the window design. I think it's a good look.
