SVX motor

seeing how the mods moved my thread let me try this.

Wow look at this! svx motor Haven't we all seen this familar looking picture? and the location Florida, ring a bell. I wonder could it be the same guy? Look at his feedback he likes Cadillacs. How many more times is this person going to list the same item? Please somebody go buy it and tell me how it runs.

ah, he's back....

Please PM me, I have some ideas

to the other readers of this thread...for amusement, take a look at his other auctions...like the BMW 750 repossessed by the Government...seized maybe from a drug dealer, but Uncle Sam doesn't repossess since he didn't once "possess". And he can't register for 8 months...also not the way Uncle works (said with some confidence since I actually do work for Uncle Sam) - title is conveyed the day of purchase.

Same?

Also, think the same guy. I believe he last tried to sell that motor and tranny under the name of Adenis or something like that. I also think he tried to start the auction at only $1500.

id stay away for that. if those are reposessions i can be very hard to get a legal title, at least in maryland. repo's an only be sold by authorized sellers aproved be the legal owner (most cases bank or state if its siezed by the poliece) and ones that are siezed by the state are sold by the state so i doubt that those cars are legal.

and the fact that hes parting them out is odd. at my work we get five or six cars a month that the lender no longer wants. the cars dont belong to the po or the bank so they sit at the office for 30 days and then we can have them scraped. their is no way to legaly get a title for a car if the legal owner cant sign off on it so they have to be junked, ony a certified salvage company can do this. its possible that these cars are legit but it could go eather way. if we parted them out our selves i imagine their would be handcuffs involved eventually.

Hmmm,

I could shoehorn that V-12 into my wife's BMW 525...

Too bad he's a scammer.

Lets see, 5 past purchases for small items, all under $60.

Now he is selling 8 cars or engines simultaneously? Let's break this down, If he gets two or three people who pay him in before he ships, he has a year's worth of income.

Notice all of the car photos are taken in parking lots or hotel valet areas.

This is a good plan, take photos of someone else's cars, write down their VIN, if you do a carfax, it comes up clean because the owner doesn't even know it is being used in an ad!

You got to hand it to him, he's crafty.

don't be so sure about it not being possible to get a legitimate title on a repo or other mystery vehicle. Most states have a way to do so, though few people are aware that it's even possible.

For example: State of NH
repos - since a bank is co-owner on the car, they can sign off on the title (hell, they can even get the state to reissue a copy of it if it's lost or damaged).

abandoned vehicles (a vehicle that gets towed and never claimed) - seller files paperwork & appropriate documentation that there were legitimate attempts to contact owner (if I recall correctly, it's over a 90 day period). If the owner does not respond, the seller files paperwork at the time of sale, so that the new owner can get the title on the vehicle.

How would I know this? (1) friends that do repos and (2) I bought my m/c from a towing yard - it was never claimed by the owner & I now have a clean title on the bike.

It is more that this guy has had multiple ebay accounts that were all closed due to fraud, so he starts right up again with a new one.

I don't think he actually has any cars, just ads.

Notice he asks for 25% down in cashiers check or money order on the cars and full payment by cashiers check or money order on the engines. No Paypal, No credit cards, nothing that a legitimate car seller with an inventory of a dozen or more cars would have at their disposal.
