Looks like it might be time to do that . Be carefull when you pull apart the whole switch assembly, my power window lock button fell apart and i had a tough time getting it back togethar.

Soobie, before you tear the switch pack open, check for boken stuff like Earthworm said.

Earthworm, you just reminded me of something, when my switches were having problems, they were not loose like soobie's. The felt tight in place but the windows just wouldn't work. You might have something there if soobie's switch is really loose.

I'd rather not do this because all the other switches work fine and I dont want to break them trying to get them off. I see 5 screws holding the black panel in place but I think i have to remove the switches in order to get that black piece off. I dont want to take the risk of ruining the other switches.

Ok i did all i could...cleaned the thing...tried everything i could. I put the panel back on and im just going to live with it i guess untill i can buy a new cluster. Anyone got one for sale? I allready have a thread in wanted for sale.

Ok so my window now opens with no problem....sometimes i have to press harder than others. Imagine my surprise when it opened. I'm still going to buy a new cluster though.

I think the guy im buying it from wants my old one as a core so he can repair it. I'm not sure though.
