This would fire 3 double ended coils of your choice. It is not a good move, as stated by every one above, it is a cheaper, inferiour system. As far as the extra voltage, 2kv more is not worth the trouble. The firing voltage depends on the resistance at the plug gap. When you increase the pressure in the cylinder, you increase the resistance. But you can reduce this, by reducing the plug gap, at no extra cost, or complexity. Harvey.
