Question Transmisson Question

I have a 94 svx and i am looking to find the transmission restrictor, i read that if i unplugg it i will get firmer/stiffer shifts. ITs supposaly behind the battery but i have no clue. Can anybody help me out? Thanks a mill.

Be prepared to live with the power light blinking everytime you startup the car as well as losing the ability for the TCU to tell you when there is a real problem.

thanks guys for the help! See my transmisson is sluggish and it also said that if it is that i should try that and see if it helps. im going to get the Smallcar 5 speed as soon as i can get 2500. but thanks again.

Maybe in the meantime get the smallcar shift kit for your auto. That way the power light doesn't flash and you'll be able to tell when a code actually happens.
