Whatd'ya think?

Well, after looking around I've found a fairly clean red SVX with tan leather, 105,000 miles, and a 3 month warranty, which I'm considering exending, the plan goes as... 1 year - 325
2 years - 450
3 years - 550
4 years - 650
The car has been in the dealer's possession in texas for just a week and he got it from Maryland, he claims there's no rust on the car and I haven't found any in these pictures. Tell me what you guys think, he's asking $7,000, It's a 1995 Subaru LSi SVX 4WD decked out, the leather and inside as you can see is flawless, the outside has some minor scratches it looks like which may need a touch up. Shipping from Texas to St. Louis is near $500, which he said he would split. The car is in such nice shape and I feel good about buying the warranty with it. Is this too much of a risk going by pictures, like I'm sure most Ebay shoppers do? Anyway, ye or ne, 7 grand is a lot of money.

Look at the major paint scratching, I know he's trying to show how nice and fresh the grooves are in the tires...is this worth worrying about Thx for looking guys and give me some input of how it compares to your SVX

that looks more like mud than scratches, but.........i wouldn't try to sell a car with mud all over it , either.

I'd be a little worried about rust. I notice that the wheel in the close-up picture has major corrosion on it. All those little lumps are bad news. I'd want to see it in person and check out the upper strut mounts for rust.

My wheels have the same corrosion

I bought mine in PA. I found no other problems. I don't think the wheel finish was properly applied at the factory.

7K seems on the high end.

The rh side looks quite battered, with dents over the front wheel and scratches over the rear wheel. Be careful!!!!

I have looked closer and can see 4 dents on the rh front wing and a scratch on the rh rear wing. As there is no picture of the lh side, we can only assume that it is in even worse condition.

Ask for some hi-res pictures for closer analysis.

I zoomed in too. Here's some of the damage outlined. 7k for a '95 with obvious damage is too much. Also consider how this car was driven to end up with all the sheet metal damage. Probably been abused pretty well. I'd pass.

Are you sure that long one that runs from above the rear wheel well to right in front of the handle isn't just a reflection? In the original pic, it looks like a tree that was skewed from the contours of the car

More pictures, cleaner on the left side. He said he would sell it for $6500. He's only had the car a week, but I'd think he'd try and get rid of those mud scratches.

Interesting how the backseats are more worn than the driver's seat.
