Custom Colors (photoshop)

Ok... I was bored again today... and decided to see how Dayles
Lime green svx0r would look, with that colored wing, as
a different color...

First..... I wanted to see what a Pearly would look like

Then... a 2-tone Pearly-gray mix

And here are the rest I threw out there:

Tell me what ya think!

These are all in my Locker... along with full res versions

Y'know, the blaze orange pearl really doesn't look half bad...

I'm rather partial to the smoke and the gradient pearl - charcoal.

unique look too.

Colors

Thanks for the super job of providing us a mixture of colors from which to choose should we ever want to venture outside the factory palate. Great job. By the way, color is an individual and personal preference, so each color will probably be someone's favorite. Now you know how FHI felt as it chose the colors for the original production run. Between you and me, I tend to lean toward the darker colors. On the other hand, a pearlie that is shiny and clean is a beautiful color. Volvo makes a color that I think would look good. See if you can find "saffron" and do a black-over-saffron example. Thanks again for a job well done.

I know that this is leaning away from body color choices, but could you photoshop my wheels from White to Gunmetal. I thought about getting them powdercoated Gunmetal, but I would like to see how they look first.

Here's the pic that I would fancy you to use.

Should you feel the need to use another one, how about this pic.

Thanks,
Keith

Cool colors. I've played around with photoshop and SVX colors but never got around to different trunk/wing colors. Neat avatar too.

Here are my colors (just single color on stock SVXs):

That's what I was exactly going say before I read your thread! while ago, I saw a nice 911 in Paris, and was wondering what if I painted with same color.

That car is so beautiful it makes me drool, in any color.

Above the others though I love the green, the yellow, and the gold. Green and gold are my favorite colors

Nice jobs on the photography and the photoshopography btw.

here's a nice picture of a yellow one I found on the net a while back:

As a former DeLorean owner.. Most assuredly.. The only two known to still exist are display pieces. One is currently sitting in an auto museum in Las Vegas, the other is in the lobby of a bank in a glass case down in TX.
