sorry for offending people with my previous statement. Just sucks to have my only friend here on the network(besides mike) off.

while i do understand the reasoning that rob was blocked in your eyes, i also understand that with no rob, all of the above conduct "codes" and even probably the new moderation would not exist. I also know that alot of you do not share my opinion on this subject, that is something that i can live with.

But alan, i will give you 10 dollars if you can relate this post to something to do with your 928 porsche you had.

I did no such thing. I just like interesting discussions. I've exchanged a few PM's on many of the 'flaming' topics with Rob, but for some reason, he likes to argue publically. I'm not provoking him, just trying to understand his point and show him mine.

Jeez Chris, you really are a n00b!!!!

Friends. That's what I thought we all were here. It's just too bad that we grown adults need moderation. I think this community's great and I've been on the receiving as well as giving end for help and advice. I don't think Rob's that bad. I just thinks he needs to learn how to interact with people in a non-negative way.

I don't see conduct "codes" and "new moderation" as great progression for our little community. I'm sure the moderators and admins have better things to do than to babysit some members.

Rob's not your only friend on here, Phil. We're trying to do our best to keep everybody here happy so don't feel like we've removed your only ally.

And Harry, with the growth of this site and the varying ages and backgrounds of its members some needed moderation in inevitable. Sometimes people lose perspective and words are exchanged. That happens. We're just here to keep the peace. Somebody lashing out or acting inappropriately isn't a big problem if they learn from their mistakes. It's when they don't learn that those people become more of a headache than they're worth.

OK, the 928 went bye-bye....just like Rob! how do you want to handle the payment.

yes, i've discussed an obscure, limited-production, grand touring car that was killed off by its manufacturer, and has a small, but loyal following - on a site that is devoted to an obscure, limited-production, grand touring car that was killed off by its manufacturer and has a small but loyal following. don't forget that for every 928 post of mine, there are 50 Neon posts, because, well, Neons and SVX's are really quite similar.

I beg to differ. At times my SVX has had 2 or no wheels on the ground, with no acting force other than inertia. This shows the superiority of the breed.

I am a pessimistic optimistic. I think the worst is going to happen, that way when it does, i don't feel as bad, but if the best happens, i am twice as happy.

Your point being? That's the reason many of us are glad he's been banned again. You see that as a positive?
