I like that car!
That car is in good shape, there is alot to work on but it does not seem to be bad enough to go to parts car status! Besides, I was going to bid on it if it stayed cheap enough!
I need that car for cheap, please leave it for me! ~G |

Is that a 92????
Red in 92 (could be a repaint of course) Wheels look light (could be from a later car I guess)

Its most likely a 93 ( They started making them in late 92) so the production date is earlier. I want all of the interior though.

Good luck, if you decide to drive it home I'll give you a pointer since I've debated purchacing an SVX and driving it home before, I hope I'm not stating the obvious, but I'll give my $0.02... If your rear wheel bearings are known good then remove the carriers from the car and take them with you, then install them on the red car, or have a mechanic install them. On a several hundred mile drive bad bearings can get hot enough to weld themselves to the axle, then it gets expensive and difficult.

I called them first. No, just kidding. I just spent about 1300 on my SVX to fix the diff and reseal the tranny (and yet it still leak -- They over filled it and my oil pan gasket needs to be replaced). Minor fix. So the seats are yours if he guy is parting it out.

Too high for me, I just can't see the value in this one for over a grand. The wheels are on backward, the gas tank won't close, the front tires are flat and I am guessing do not match the rear anyway.... all this leads me to beleive it was not taken care of well at all + the fon axels need replacing and minor body work... I give up!

Edit: This is a weird car. I mean, according to the VIN, it's a '92. But there were no red SVXs in '92. As we know, all 301 '93s were red, but they were also all LS-L models with beige interiors... ...and it's most likely not a repaint unless it was a very thorough job - the color's even under the missing light pod and that bracket is unpainted metal. It smells very fishy to me, and that's not just because it's so close to the ocean.
