:)

Yesterday we had that Porsche with the mirrors.
Today an ebay auction with an SVX.

Both located in my homecountry!

Seems that Austrians are crazy

I only know 8 Svx's in Austria. So this is the 9th one

Maybe I can write an e-mail to this guy to find out more about that car.

you guys are being a bit harsh... maybe the guy is just color blind, i mean, it doesn't look that bad if you squint and turn your head to the left (actually i just don't understand why those two colors... trying to save by not repainting the bordeaux?)

ok, i don't get it

What is wrong with it? I don't think it looks bad at all. In fact i kinda like it. Of course i am colorblind so if someone wouldn't mind telling me what color it is in reality. To me it seems like a brick red over a sort of tan color. Help a brother out and let me know whats wrong with that poor SVX.

Poor Ray!
Think about what I said earlier.......

It's claret over copper (maybe oranger than mine), with copper mirrors, wheels, etc.

Right everyone? Or am I colorblind too?

that still doesn't help much

See, I have never been 100% sure what the claret color of the SVX looks like. Its a very difficult color for me to make out. If the bottom part is similar to yours michelle it may not be so bad. To me this just kinda looks like the paint job on some of the outbacks that i have seen...the burgandy over that gold champagne color. I like that color scheme though. Is that what this SVX is similar to?

I wouldn't have painted the mirrors though. Can't say much about the wheels, they look normal to me. Welcome to my world everyone lol.

Think redwine colored, with a really shiny copper penny. but the copper isn't continuous, which is really the only part i think is bad. the wheels, then the mirrors and the door handle (whoo wants to draw attention to a door handle??) it looks like someone beat a grape with pennys.

It's not the color of the car that really bugs me... BUT who the hell would paint their wheels the same color as the body???

We have a winner . I think i can get the general idea though. Sounds like this paint job had real potential. Probably sounded great when he first planned it but that it just didn't turn out right. It happens I guess. Thanks for your help everyone
