Awesome JDM S3 rims...

http://www.geocities.com/jamsvx/S3.jpg

I desperately want those rims. Any idea of what they're called or where to get them? If I had who they were made by and a name for them or something, maybe I could call the company and find out. Please help me out here!

They are BBS wheels, made for the S3 and S4. A better photo of the rims can be found HERE which was scanned from the original JDM brochure, where they are mentioned as such.

Okay, now I know they're BBS's and are a mesh pattern. That was the 1993 JDM SVX since they started over there in 1991, right? And does anyone know the size of them?

They remind me very much of the stock wheels on my '94 Chrysler LHS.

Try emailing/pm'ing oab_au - he has a set on his car.

There are a few SVX's in Australia with those wheels, however, they were not offered as an option to the public.

But...interesting thing is that each one that I know of was an ex-Subaru Australia car so perhaps they had access to the JDM catalogue

With the link, not sure why it is not working - suspect too many people looked at it and geocities then shuts it down for a period.

I've got those JDM brochures at home to be scanned in so eventually it will all be up

Cheers

James

PS: I prefer the rims on Tone's car, which seemed only to have been released in Germany!

I love those wheels too...

I've been searching for a set of them for a while now, but I haven't had any luck. I have seen gold ones also. I asked about them a while ago and here's what someone said:

these wheels are very expensive especially with less common centers and you may find that those lovely Gold mesh wheels can cost well over $1000 EACH (over $2000 each in Japan)

Every now and then I search some Japanese used wheel websites for them and once I even emailed K-staff to see if I could buy some from them.
