Exclamation 14th Annual 48hrs of Tristate for 2015, Jan 15-18

Planning for the 2015 48hrs of Tristate has been in full swing. This is an annual group drive that includes over 1,000 miles of driving spread over 3 days. We kick it off with Breakfast and a Meet & Greet with Subaru of America Executives at the Subaru of America Headquarters in Cherry Hill, NJ. There we also hold the door prize raffle in their auditorium before jumping in our Subarus and heading out onto the highways and backroads of the Tristate Area.

This year we've brought on several new sponsors as well as some old sponsors who have helped support this event for many years. Not only is this trip an amazing way to see the scenic winterscapes of the NY/NJ/PA but it is an opportunity for you to help give back to the community. All registrants are required to signup through our link to Alex's Lemonade Stand a Charity that helps to fight childhood cancer, the donations you make to ALS act as your "entry" fee for the event. They are also tax deductible! Over the years we have raised almost $500,000 for various charities by having fun on our drives!

There are all different folks who attend the trip, young adults, families, retirees, you name it, if they enjoy Subarus they are there. We caravan in groups of 10-15 cars and communicate from car to car via CB radios. People share stories during the trip and many folks have made lifelong friends through the past events. It is truly an amazing way folks bond together!

This year we will be doing lots and lots of backroads with little highway driving! Our travels will take us up to Utica, NY and then through the Adirondack Mountains to Saratoga Springs, NY. Sunday we will motor down through the Catskills and end up in Middletown, NY for the closing dinner.

I'll be going again.
Bailed out in the middle of last year's due to a head gasket leak.

Hi paisan! I remember you from Edmunds forums an age ago, when I got my first Subie - a 2000 Legacy GT. I really, really want to make this trip one of these years.

Thanks! You should do it!

We have a blast and it's for a good cause, and Patti shows up for breakfast!
