Universal pre catalytic converter part #'s?

My driver's side pre cat ran into a manhole cover and lost. There was a member here that posted part numbers to his custom exhaust that had pre cat's installed, however after searching I wasn't able to find the post.

Does anyone recall that member's post, I remember it being a red svx from California....

any thoughts/suggestions are appreciated. Thanks

i had a custom exhaust installed by svxfiles. You have two options.

Replace the pre-cats with AeroTurbine AR20 resonators. They work well in place of pre-cats and cause no problems with OBDI cars. Many members have gone this route. They don't work well with the more sensitive OBDII cars.

You can also use the Magnaflow 50004 converters. I used these in my 96 polo.

As I said, they will work fine in your 92 SVX, just not with OBDII. Newsvx used them in his 92, along with others. Available from Verocious Motorsports
