knock sensor code 28 and both oxygen sensors codes 32 and 37
can somebody tell me where are teh knock sensors? can I use a 96 legacy outback knock sensor instead?

Under the intake plenum.
This view is taken from the passenger side wheel with intake plenum removed. |

I think that's the AACV, which is one of two valves that control the amount of air the engine gets at idle. It opens to let in more air when cold so that the engine will warm up faster.

Yes correct...I had to replace that AACV while I had the engine apart. It should have a long hose that attaches to the driver's side of the throttle body. The hose in the picture was broken off. This valve's main function is for controlling idle while cold until engine is at normal temp.
