Re: 176 Mph SVX!

An SVX in Germany went up to 176mph (285km/h), with a removed speed limiter.

...but at 4k RPM?

Car went so fast, half of the wheels twisted backwards. (Somebody was gonna say it!)

Why is there a picture of his dog? Is it included with the sale?

Re: 176 Mph SVX!

He is also a spelling MASTER

This auction is for a 1996 subaru svx LSI. the interior is tan leather the driver seet has a few tares and a small rip in passenger seat other wise the interior is in good condition. the car has front differential problems that need to be addressed imediatly. The car runs and moves but will not get to highway speed.other than that the car runs exelent! has new timing belt and all other maintanence done for the 120000mile tune up. has brand new alternater and battery, full flowmaster exhaust system and reactive tips wich make the car sound very throaty like a corvette not a dirt bike! it has a coldair intake, and performance chip, drilled and slotted roters , good meaty tires, AC works well, all lights work inside and out, has small ding in driver rear, and i bit of paint fade above gas cap { see pictures}. the rest of the body is in good condition. I drove this car till the day the front diff went and i absolutely LOVE it!!!! The tranny is tight and shifts well. 2 weeks after parking the car i was dissabled in a accident and do not have the physicall ability to fix it or it would not be on ebay! it has aftermarket head unit {sony} 2 10 inch subs in a box and all the wires are ran but the amp was on lone and have to give it back but all the wires are ran proffesionally. Thank you for looking! the car is locall pickup only unless you arange pickup off the vehicle and you pay for the cost. The differential was assests by the service manager at ertle? and it will take about 300.00 dollars in parts and about 200.00 in labor to fix it. besides that you are getting an EXELENTTTTT running and looking car! Remember these things were 42 to 47 thousand new(?!) and limited productions the car was way way way ahead of its time right down to the automatic wipers!!!(huh?) the headunit{sony} and subs{pioneer LS1} were 750.00 just by them selvs, the exhaust was 1400.00, cold air intake 175.00,perfermance chip 350.00, and reactive tips{2} were 60.00 each. the car has no cutoff at 136 and all the upgrades give it an extra 120HP at least(really!?) and way better gas mileage! THE CAR FLAT AT FLYS!!! Fastest i had it going was on the northeast extention of the pa turnpike with a passenger going to a festival on the pier was 176mph and the tack was at 4!!!! that leaves plenty of tack to go!!! THANKS AGAIN FOR LOOKING!! AND GOOD LUCK YOU WONT BE DISAPOINTED TRUST ME!!! we will deleiver within 300 ,iles for a dollara a mile.

BTW is anyone else wondering why the last picture he provided is a yellow lab?? Is this who was driving when he hit 176mph on the turnpike?

Re: 176 Mph SVX!

Well, I finally know what a 350 hp all-motor svx looks like. It looks eactly like a regular svx! Not even any pictures of the motor. At this rate, I think power grows exponentially per mod. CAI = 10 hp. Exhaust = 100 HP!!! ECU = eleventeen hundred HP MOARZ!!!

And man, this guy is a spelling and grammar CHAMP!

But in all seriousness, his reactive (sp) tips were $60 each, so really guys... this is a good deal.

It's all about the sticker. Every one is worth at least 15 horzpowahs!

I sent him an e-mail asking how he can get 176 MPH at 4,000 RPM when I can only get around 120 at those revs. I also asked how he knew he was going 176.

Re: 176 Mph SVX!

I used to know that car. It belonged to someone on the old Yahoo SVX Club site. He lives up in that area of PA. He is a professional photographer. His first name was Don and I think (not sure) his last name was Dinaro. He obviously sold the car to someone who modified it. When I knew the car it was stock.
