I'm thinking about doing a manual swap on my car but tight on funds so i'm wondering how much i can get for my automatic tranny.

How many miles? Has it been rebuilt? How does it shift?

did tom give you a time frame as to when he will have a kit for you? I'm going to sell my trans too when I get a firm answer

i didnt talk to tom, i was just gonna do it myself.
264,000kms, new Pump and the bearings were replaced when in the shop.
Shifts good without problem.

oh wow that is cool. I can't weld so I have teh FAIL and have to have someone else do it for me.

I'm not the best either, i'll be getting help from a bunch of my friends who are gear heads, One guy swapped a manual into his 4runner, the other put an IROC camaro tranny in his 87 Monte Carlo.

Hardest part is to find the pedals and a good priced tranny. I want to go with a 6spd STi but i think i'll just settle for a WRX tranny for now.
