Body Work Question
So, I've got some rust on my right rear quarter panel. I was wondering if any body gurus here could give me a ballpark on how much this might cost to get fixed properly.
The damage is like 4 sq inches (2inx2in) Pictures:

Re: Body Work Question
I'm just taking a shot in the dark but i'd guess around $800. Most of the cost is removing/reinstalling body parts.

Re: Body Work Question
Pretty sure almost any shop would do the rust repair with it still attached, especially being that its the quarter panel...

Re: Body Work Question
No, that's not what I meant. I mean they have to remove all things attached to the quarter panel for paint.

Re: Body Work Question
Jason,
How long did it take for that rustspot to go from unnoticable to the current condition? (I'm starting to get some there too).

Quote:
I have pictures dated from about 14 months ago and the spot is unnoticeable. So, that's about how much time it took for the rust to cook. The people who repaired the other side of the car painted the door and quarterpanel still on the car. The total for that job was $1000. This is what the damage looked like:

Re: Body Work Question
I want it repaired. I'll probably have a quote done when I have the cash.
