engine rev?
When I'm slowing down my engine started revving slightly. When I stop the revving goes away and I can't detect it at a higher speed. But when i'm slowing down to stop, it sounds like 'WowWowWowWow...and it feels like I'm driving on tires shaped like eggs.
It started at my last gas up and has been going on for a couple of days now. When it happens, I can see it in the tach but you wouldn't if you weren't looking for it. What do you think? Bad gas? Rogue sensor? |

Re: engine rev?
more than likely the gas. if it were me my next fill up a would put a higher octane in it and some injector cleaner and see if that clears it up.

Re: engine rev?
Mine does that too, if I use REALLY cheap gas. I'd suspect a fill up with a good fuel will suffice.

Re: engine rev?
Hmmm, baby has never even tasted anything other than 93 octane since I've had her. However, I did go to a different gas station last time. It was a Shell station and they advertized nitrogen in the gas to help cleaning the valves.
I might just have to take her for a ride just to get rid the gas. Shoot, she's got a full belly too. Well thanks guys. I was afraid that it might be something serious. |
