Re: Is this guy high?

They did.

I'm guessing he pulled the LSD chunk out to swap into another rear and put the open chunk back into this one???

Yeah, I was thinking about that... You may want to keep an eye on this auction...

If this is something the Datsun guys want, you may make out enough better than scrap price to make it worth while???

Re: Is this guy high?

I've seen 510 guys pay $600 for a 3.70 LSD... Not sure what they'd pay for a 3.545.

I wonder if he just isn't used to the viscous LSD, in that you can hold one axle and turn the other relatively easily, unlike a conventional clutch type LSD?

Re: Is this guy high?

The only LSD worth anything to most of us is (least the Z owner Datsun pplz) is the Z31 LSD, which I believe is the 3.70 you're talking about. Rare, and can hold great power. I dunno about the SVX rears. They can't even handle an SVX RWD swap's power, right?

Re: Is this guy high?

Dunebuggiesupply parts out many SVX's, they seem to always have a stream of auctions for parts. I'm sure they're familiar enough with the stock rear to know what they have.
