What is the color break down for 1997 production #'s

Hello,

Does anyone know what the color break down of the 1997 640 cars produced were? I heard the bordeaux is the rarest color but I think that in in general and specific to 97?

There were only four colors offered in the US market. Polo Green Pearl, Ebony Pearl, Bordeaux Pearl and Brilliant Red. According to Subaru, there was supposed to be a Laguna Blue for the Canadian market, but one has never been seen.

Most of the 97s seem to be Brilliant Red, followed by Black and Polo Green. I don't think there were very many Bordeaux Pearls produced for 1997.

Supposedly, the Brilliant Red and Polo Green were also offered as L models with gray cloth interiors, which would make them the rarest.

I was aware of the four colors having looked at a production number chart Earl directed me to. I was hoping someone had the split of 640 cars as to how many there were of each color and trim levels. Thanks for the info, was not aware that Canada "had the blue available as well for 97. I think that would prob make it the rarest of the bunch if there was truly one delivered in that color for 97.

I don't know of any breakdown of how many of each color there is. There was a Laguna Blue on a 97 catalog or brochure, but no one has ever seen a 97 that color. Brilliant Red seems to be the most common color of the later years.
