Question Green "power" Light

Sorry if this has been asked before but:
l) What does it mean to have solid "power" light on at start-up
2) What does it mean to have blinkling "power" light on at start-up

Thanks for answers - feel lots better now

1. All the dash lights should come on solid for a few seconds at start-up.

2. Power light flashing 16 times means that the TCU (Trans control unit) has a fault code stored in it that you need to check.

1) This is normal.
2) This means your TCU has an error code. There are some instructions in the howto section of this site explaining how you can read the error code to determine what the problem is.

The How-To section SHOWS pictures on how to read the codes Here
Rosemarie

Also in the same section is a Word document showing what the blinks mean and how to read and interpret them Here

Best of luck with them.

Joe
