Raceconcept??? Anywhere else ...

Well I left a vm, sent an email, and another via ebay, trying to get some answers about combined shipping, etc. No response.

Looking at rotors/pads/ss lines/fluid for all 4 corners. I saw that Raceconcepts has an ebay listing for ft/rr rotors for $180 w/free ship. Seems like many members here recommend them, but I find it hard to feel good about a seller that doesn't respond to messages in a timely manner(over one week).

Can anybody recommend another source for brake parts? I would like to get everything from one vendor, unless I can piece together a cheaper alternative. Those Raceconcepts rotors would be a start, but without responding to my messages, forget it.

Sometimes he'll respond in minutes, sometimes it's days . . .

His products are good, unless you're deparate to get parts as soon as possible, try to give him more time to get back to you.

Thanks for your quick response! Yeah, was planning on waiting until next week since it really seems from the archives that Ben's a good guy. I am in need asap but I've got another vehicle so it can wait a few more days.

Looks like there are numerous sources for rotors, not sure if there's any differences between them besides price. So far Ben appears to be the cheaper and offers dimples/slots. Pads I'll probably just go with Metal Masters which should also be available from numerous sources. Lastly, the SS brake lines seem more rare as I've only found Ben and Smallcar. But Ben's appears to be at least 30% cheaper in price, not sure about quality. Do you need to be careful with SS brake lines and different quality vendors? Or are most SS lines all good stuff?

I have bought a number of sets of rotors from Wood at RaceConcepts, and the service was always INSTANT. They even donated a set of rotors to be used as a prize at the Reading meet. I kind of remember hearing that they're under different ownership now. Is that true?

Just wanted to say 'thanks' again as I got in touch with Ben this morning and ordered the whole kit. Like everyone else said, once you get in touch with him it's all good. Almost pulled the trigger on irotors kit off ebay but probably would have cost at least 10% more.

I got almost the exact same deal as late last year. Total came out to $394 to my door. Not sure about the brake fluid but not a deal breaker. I think it could have been cheaper if I would have gone with the raceconcept front and rear rotors. But like the original deal I'm getting bradi fronts with raceconcept rears. Requested dimples and slots as well.
