So are they two peice rotors??? They only look like solid rotors...

Have you had the chance to compare stopping distance yet? What with all of the SVXs you're accumulating of late, you could just do a side-by-side test!

Ive been thinking of making a video with some
stops from 60-0 and 100-0

Ill be at the Reno meet
we can do a test there against "others" cars

Question Old topic, but I had to ask...

I'm no brake pro, but wouldn't it be possible to just swap teh front rotors onto the rear (after upgrading) to at least give the old brake system purpose? Or would the performance gains be so little that it would negate the work involved? Esthetically, I think it would also appear pretty unattractive to have these fat upgraded brake rotors on the front, and the dinky stock ones on the rear.

I wasnt worried about looks to be honest, I wanted
more stopping power, and the end result was just that.
As far as looks go though, it looks fine havent had
any complaints yet .
And Id almost bet the Porsche rims would fit too.

Dayle,
Were you ever able to do some stopping distance comparisions to see exactly how much distance the "big brake" kit cut off of the distance the stock brakes required (say 60 to 0 and 100 to 0)?

What about the parking brake? I think the rear rotors have a drum integrated
in the rear rotor.

The 'Tegra had regular disks out back don't see why not other than the calipers having to be switched too for the additional size and thats where the parking brake comes into question.
