Neon frustration
I hooked up my neons yesterday and they were working great. I turned them on tonight and blew the fuse. I checked the wiring and its all good but i keep blowing fuses when i flip the switch. Any advice?

What did you wire them into?
I used a relay, wired straight to the battery. This way there is little to no amp draw on the switch portion. Steve

If you are using a relay and still blowing fuses then there are two reasons.
1. the relay is bad. Get a good 30amp headlamp one at local auto parts store. 2. The relay is wired wrong. Steve P.S. I am a inspiring artist inside.

I am using a 3 amp fuse. Would a 5 amp be a good idea? I checked the wiring and its all right. I dug out the instructions and went over all of it

I would say atleast a 10 amp fuse. 3 amp is way to small for most applications in a car other than the clock.

Ok. I called the company and they told me use 3 amp but it just seems too small thanks for your help.
