mobile body work

I was out walking at lunch last week and cut through the University VW lot, where I met Ri Van Nguyen. He was preping the bumper of a Passat for repair and respray. His business is called "Instant Autobody". His business card says "hassle-free mobile service", "body shop quality without the wait or expense", "master tech for 5 years". I had the bumpers on my svx done by a mobile body guy several years ago and really liked the work, but he got another gig and I lost track of him. I had some other minor work done later but had to take it to a brick-and-mortar shop to get it done. I don't know Mr. Nguyen and have never had work done by him but have been looking for another mobile service for a while. If you are interested, his number is 206-354-1163.

(It also occured to me that if there were enough of us who wanted mobile body work done, we could invite him and his van to a maintenence meet next year.)

That was my thought as well. Then, I realized that my place may be big enough to be one stop in itself.

Thanks for the info. I just got some other information about another guy who does the same kind of work. This may be a great way to go.
