In a way it reminds me of that Mercedes commercial from a year or two back. I think it was mentioned here back then...... the one where the whole commercial is from the "eyes" (interior shot) of a 1970-something Mercedes Benz....... it shows it's whole life "flashing before its eyes" ]

Along the same line..... Does anyone remember a '60s movie called "The Y****w Rolls Royce"?

Ron.

Almost a shame you aren't in N-Central OH, there is a dealer up here that had a promotion going on with the Sedona's, buy one and get a Rio for free........
After (the wife) driving it for a while, update us as to what you really think of it.

Darn! That would've been worth the drive. Wish I'd known. I'll keep you updated (as if you had to ask ). Just on the test drive, we were very pleased with all aspects of the Sedona. My only aprehension was that I thought it was a bit "sluggish" considering it had a 3.5 litre V-6. Then, the salesman reminded me of the weight (4,802 lbs), and the fact that the Koreans still use a lot of steel in their vehicles.

I drove the Caravan very slowly to work this morning (after taking care of the paperwork at the financial institution). I'd almost convinced myself that she had another 100K left in her (the clock now reads 187070.7). She still rides smooth and solid and the engine seems strong. She has an annoying rough idle, which I've tried to fix with new plug wires and plugs, throttle body cleaning, etc., but, my friend, the mechanic assures me that it's the loss of compression in cylinder 6. It IS time -- I suppose if I only buy a new car every DECADE, I'll be okay. Meanwhile, during that decade, I'll continue to look for SVXes for me. It will be the only car for ME, as long as I can find them, and can lift and lower my fat a$$ into one.

Okay. I picked up the Kia on my lunch hour. Or, should I say, I signed paperwork for an hour on my lunch hour and, in that state of "surrealizm" that accompanies such large commitments for monies, drove back to work, like a Zombie. Perhaps I'll be more "settled" on my 40-mile drive home, to be more aware (I did manage to find the sunroof button -- it's, like, 75 cool degrees here today). Sooo . . . until I can REALLY feel settled, talk amongst yourselves.

Shelfy, take some good pics when you get it, I wanna see an IIP. The dealer near me said they'd call me when one came in, but they didn't

Congrats Randy, on your Kia.

I just came back from Kia to see your car. Oh the web site.

Yeah, sometimes it's hard to part with your old car. Maybe few more days you will be settled...

Okay, so, I know it's just a "mini van" but, it's NEW (had 41 miles on the clock) and it made my family happy.

When I was getting ready to drive it off the lot, the salesman said, "enjoy it." I said, "I will -- except for once a month."

More impressions later. So far, (I mean, just considering "what" the vehicle is), I'm impressed.
