Why we track SVX's - case in point
If you look at www.carsales.com.au you will see two SVX's for sale by private sellers. The one we are interested in is the red one, NXA 090 for $19,000 (btw - this has been for sale for about 2 years)
If you then look at a dealer search, what do you see - lo and behold, the same car...except at $29,000!! Looks like a stealer..opps, dealer, has bought it and wants to rip one of our 'family' (being SVX owners, fans and prospective purchasers) off to the tune of $10,000 Now we can't have that can we!! I don't have a problem with private sellers getting what they can for the cars (if they make money/break even/loose only a little bit, then good on them) but here we have an outsider trying to make money off us. We can now keep an eye on this and see where it ends up - one of the reasons I am so keen, as are others, to get the Register of Australian SVX's off the ground. Cheers James PS: the yard is www.camburmotors.com.au

It is interesting to note that if you look at the photos of the 1993 silver SVX for sale in QLD, the photo of the engine bay is NOT genuine!
Look at which side the brake master cylinder and brake fluid tank is on.........! Jason.
