Hitch for the SVX...
Hi everybody,
I'm despirately trying to find a Class 1 hitch for my SVX. I've searched everywhere and nothing... I want to tow my bike from Seattle to Florida and I've found a great 8X4 trailer for it but no luck with the hitches... Even U-Haul doesn't make one for our cars. My bike weights a little over 400lb and the trailer is about 220lb. I'm sure I'd be fine towing it but where do I find the proper hardware for my car. I'm 90% sure I've heard of AT LEAST one person on here having a hitch on their SVX over the years, but I could be wrong. You know how members come and go around here, plus they probably got hassled for doing it so kept it fairly quiet.
I think just about anything can be customized by professionals and done safely, just a matter of finding a good place to do it. I see Mustangs and Camaros running around town all the time with trailer hitches sticking out the back, even the ones with low ground effects. I'm sure those aren't factory accessories.

There is a place near where I work around 165'th & Aurora ( I belive its Mans welding ) I had them do the hitch on my Buick ( slide out so just a small square when ur not using the hitch )
They did an awsome job & had pics of BMW's & some 75 to 100 K cars they did custom hitch jobs on ( including some cars with the exaust that comes out dead center on the bumper ) So if I where to ever do it to the SVX it would be them i had do it . but thats what I keep the beater Buick for
