Window problem

Well I dug into the drivers door to see why the window was permanently open about an inch.
After using a battery off of my drill to provide power right to the motor and getting no response, am I correctly assumming that the motor is shot??

I pulled the motor apart so that I could manually put the window up.

Is the motor replaceable seperate for the mechanism that spools the cable (regulator?)?

AFAIK it's sold as an assembly.

Mine was replaced just for the sleeve lock regulator. (Didn't cost me anything due to insurance)
