Question Newbie forum question

What does the envelope icon with the black dot mean? It shows up every time I post. Am I doing something goofy(other than typing a message about my ten year old out of production limited edition Subaru?)

No, you are not doing anything unusual. When you post a message, or have posted in a thread, all the envelopes will have dots on it. It will help you keep track of which thread you are involved in. The open ones are the ones you have not read and the close are are the ones you are done with.

Hope that helps
Lwin

And welcome to svx.net
