Driving all the way to Idaho to meet the administrators does help. Also taking him for a drive in a 5 speed converted SVX is bonus points as well.

I learned something that day:

When it's 40°C outside it's actually cooler on the feet to stand on the painted lines in the parking lot instead of the bare asphalt.
