Head repair.

I have a cylinder with low compression. Not sure if it a head gasket although water temp is fine, no coolant leak that I can find and no white exhaust. So likely a valve problem. Does anyone know a shop in the Portland Oregon area that is good with Subaru motors?
Thanks

Re: Head repair.

i am not from the area but would recommend a leak down test to find out where you are losing compression. could be valves, rings, etc.. but without knowing for sure you will just be throwing parts at it. do a wet compression test, could be a stuck ring.
