AM Radio Noise, how odd.
For the first time in probably 30 years I actually listened to AM radio. The reason was simple, the Dribble Rays are on AM out of Tampa only in Sarasota. I was cruising with my new wheel bearing on I75N when I noticed something odd. When cruising at 80 (which by the way is the flow of traffic speed in Sarasota/Manatee counties) everything was fine. When I accelerate to pass or to resume the normal speed I heard something I had not heard in years, static. It was odd because I only heard it under acceleration, slight or otherwise. Clearly you could hear it. It was increasing and decreasing with the amount of throttle I was giving her. I thought radio interference was a thing of the past. I was thinking about what could be causing it. Since it was under a load, could it be a loose plug? Or ???? a ground issue?? Any ideas?
OBTW, the Rays got beat by some team from Chicago. Last edited by fl_svx; 05-12-2005 at 09:52 PM. |

Umm.....yeah.......I don't think they made the six speaker system intended for listening to AM radio. What you should really do is turn it back to FM stereo and TURN IT UP!!!!
(Hey if it's too loud.........Then you're too old!!!!!!) |

Where is my Metallica CD? Oh, there it is next to my Buffalo Springfield !!! Yeah, should probably not listen to the Dribble Rays on the radio since the only teams they can beat are the Yankees and White Sox. |
