HID installation query

Noticed our 9006 connectors (lows) are always "hot" with light switch OFF..apparently turning the switch supplies a ground so they light up. Seems like aftermarket HID setups might not synch with these connectors or am I wrong here ?

You flip the connector on a typical HID kit- I have had HID kits on 3 SVXi. One Lavalux from OT (the best) which was made for the SVX, the other two were DDM Apex, worked ok after flipping connector.

Thanks..could you describe what you mean by "flipping" the connector ? Does it involve moving wires from their connector sites ?

most of those kits come with a connector that is reversible, no rewiring needed you just put the red wire side of the connector in so it is in the - side. I will take a quick pic and show you.
