this happened

i was rebuilding my 2piston rear calipers and when the piston came out a piece of the dustboot lip broke off

i was thinking i can just jbweld it back it place since it actually doesnt affect the seal

no, i tried test fitting it on the svx

When you say rebuild, shouldn't you change the boots too?

short term you should be ok but long term you may get water and dirt inside the boot. most of the calipers i replace are bad because of water getting into the dust boot and causing it to seize or leak. the water gets in easily but stays in there for a long time.
