I was thinking something like that would work, until I popped off the cap to try out my anchor. The eye may be too wide to fit in the recess?

I wonder if a call to SOA would be at all productive?

I really don't think it'll be a problem, especially if I use a spacer of about the same thickness as the OEM one.

As it turns out, we were both right. The eye bolt is a little too large for the recess, and I needed to use a spacer. The spacers I had in my junk drawer were either a little too long or a little too short, so I used the short one with a couple washers.

My son ode in the SVX for the first time this morning. He loved it.
