A/C condense water outlet clogged?

After using the A/C and switching to ECON it gets damp inside. How will I know, if the condense water outlet is clogged?

Re: A/C condense water outlet clogged?

most likely the evaporator case drain is clogged. the evaporator is the part that is inside the car. if you look outside the car on the opposite side of the firewall from where the evaporator is you should see a small tube coming out where the water would normally drain.

I guess, blowing air through the tube might cure the problem.

you might want to poke something in there to clean it out such as a pipe cleaner or heavy guitar string. if you blow air into it then all the debris will be pushed inside and eventually end up back where it was.

I would probably suck it out with a wet-dry shop vac and get the mess out of the thing!
