Steering column
My son just bought a '92 and we're trying to figure out what is missing for the tilt memory. I understand that there are three levers but does anyone know what this is for? The picture is shooting up at the under-side of the steering column. I don't think it is where the memory knob is supposed to go but, I'm not sure.

Welcome to the site!
The lever on the side is just to move the wheel out of the way to get in/out of the car. To actually adjust the tilt angle there's a lever in the bottom center of the steering column near the dash. The pictures you are showing represent part of the ignition.

I understand that there should be a lever to set the tilt memory but I'm pretty sure it's missing, I'm just trying to figure out exactly where it should go. So, looking at the image the tilt memory lever should be to the left of the picture? Thanks again. |

crazy tilt wheel
Man, that tilt memory lever is a sneaky thing! Even though I knew it was supposed to be there, and even though I was under there taking pictures trying to find it, I still didn't find it until last night.
Thanks to ilsegretosvx for telling me that it *had* to be under there. |
