Bumper color
So is it is strange to have black bumpers on a white pearl SVX. Problem. Some crazy kid try to run a red light and clipped the front of my car. I thought it was just red paint from his car and it would rub off. Being a nice guy I told him to drag. I got home and 90% rubbed out, left a 1/4 inch by 4 inch black scrape (looks like a black magic marker ) the rear of the car has a dig inside the rear wheel well from a pick axe that fell off a truck in front of us, along with the usual scratches. Matching the pearl would be harder than painting the front and rear bumpers black so what is the opinion of the group?

Different color bumpers = cheap rice
If you want to go all two-tone like some JDMs it wouldn't look bad, but I vote for just finding a used pearl bumper.

You could photoshop the black bumpers on a picture so you can see what it looks like. I would rather have a couple black marks on my bumper (and I do) than have them all black. Just my taste.

You may be able to use a heat gun on that and be able to move it back into place and then touch it up with paint.

Like Earl said, try the photochop of the black bumper and see how it looks to you (which is the important thing)
If you don't like it, and the marks are small get some pearl touch up paint cause it's unlikely anyone will notice unless they look close.

I have never been good at touch up paint especially the matalic and pearl. I will try the heat gun idea. Let you know. Did u check out the picture? I still can't get them into the locker. I think I am doing something WRONG I will go to the LOCKER thread and ask for help bye ...

If your using Subaru touch up paint or stuff from paintscratch.com it shouldn't be that hard to do, and like I said, it won't matter if it matches exactly unless everyone looks really close. But if it's that big a deal and $$ isn't an issue, get the whole car repainted cause a bumper off another pearly probably won't match exactly either. Or go to a reputable (and I don't mean Maco) paint shop and ask them to match the color and paint it for you.

There was a member who painted all the lower plastic black. Imagine an Oreo. There are pics but I don't know where.
