Very interesting. I don't think that was an actual GLH. It looked like either all the GLH stuff removed or it is a OMNI that was upgraded.

Man, an 11.8 second OMNI, that's just insanely cool.

I remember Dodge had a Mopar performance catalog where you could buy just about anything for the L body. Stage III crate engine, Gettrag transmissions, Urethane bushings, sway bars.

Ahhh, fond memories.

No, that's just INSANE. A friend of mine in high school went through two of those cars. Doing 40 was scary. No way would I ever be interested in doing Corvette-level speeds in a car like that!

Two or three summers ago my friends and i got an omni, later to be dubed "omni-potent," for $25.00 with a busted radiator. We set it up for the figure-8 derby... and from what i remember i think it came in third. We might've done better if I hadn't tried donuts...er atleast 180s on dry pavement with the parking brake and ripping the cable right through the bracket, rendering the e-brake useless.
