greetings
New guy here. Recently bought an SVX to replace my '90 Legacy LS (running beautifully at 196,000 miles but definitely showing ill effects from an overexposure to road salt in her formative years), which is going to my daughter. Y'all are worrying me with all this talk of transmission troubles. This thing's my daily driver, my one and only ride. Please, someone tell me it will be okay. Or better yet, make me an offer. Having such a beautiful car in the garage is too much of a distraction anyway.

Actually there is a cup holder that came with the SVX. Most likely it's missing on yours like it is on many SVXes on the road.

In the mean time, just enjoy your SVX and deal with issues when they happen.

In the early 80's I had the automatic transmission replaced in my '68 Mustang. Cole's Transmission Exchange, Hapeville, Georgia. $200 out the door (with ATF dripping from the streering wheel). True story. I gather that replacing an SVX transmission might cost a bit more...
