I've been having problems with mine also. He started to claim that although he was not a citizen, he was a human, and he heard (on tv or something) that he's supposed to have rights. What the hell is this world coming to?! I grabbed the nearest pan and bashed him in the head, and locked him in the cabinet without his dinner last night. Next thing you know women will demand to vote!

You Guys are wonderful. It is wonderful how there is so much good will and help on offer here.

Block their bloody parking spaces with SVX hardware and present a group of heavies frome here with a different sort of hardware and DEMAND satisfaction or better still your money back.

Make sure you post the results !!!!

Is the washer 110 or 220 volt?
And is the wiring the correct voltage?

It may sound like a stupid question, But worth asking...

Think it's time...

for a chat with the store manager and/or district manager. $20k spent at Lowe's is nothing to sneeze at and the store manager/district manager will realize that. The board (the modern day equivalent of my "rotary timer") was obviously defective and, unless they can show you somehow fried it hooking the unit up, they should be able to go back to the manufacturer and get a new one (board, that is) at no cost to you. You may need to haggle with them a bit as to the installation (my guess is that you can do it yourself - it's probably just a pc board similar to a sound card, etc. you'd install in your computer). Good luck!

p.s. you can always use the "you know, I've been posting my adventures with you on the SVX web site and believe me, an awful lot of the members shop at Lowes. It would be a shame if they all decided that Home Depot was a much better place to do business...." line with them if they're not responsive

Angry

Am I hearing this right? The dishwasher only had a 90 day warranty????
I mean if Lowes had installed it, would they NOT now replace the defective part gratis?

You laid Twenty-Thousand Dollars in Lowes' cash bin this year, & you're gettin' stiffed?! Bob, it's time to gather those receipts, go down to the store & find the highest level of management on premise, & calmly explain that if THIS is how Lowes treats its prime customers, you'll make a much bigger stink elseware, & that Home Despot will welcome the 30K you plan to invest this year.
I suggest the dishwasher will be repaired free of charge, & they might even throw in a box 'o Cascade for your inconvenience.

Ron.
