Which Lubegard Platinum ATF additive

I wanted to add the Lubegard Platinum ATF additive to our '97 stock transmission, as a safeguard. Looking at Amazon, there are at least three different versions of this, all different prices, which one is the right one?

The Lubegard Platinum 63016 is probably the one you want.

The 63010 is the 10oz. bottle
The 63016 is the 15 oz. bottle
The 63062 is the 32 oz. bottle

Since you are doing only 1 car, and you add only 1 oz. of Lubegard for each quart of ATF, you have more than enough.

The Lubegard red works extremely well, but the Universal Platinum is designed to work with any ATF.


If you had multiple vehicles to use this on, the larger sizes would be more economical.

I noticed when I was looking for this that they sell the flush bottle with the platinum bottle on Amazon as well. Any comments on the Lubegard flush?

I've seen ATF additives do some horrible things. Interested to hear others like to use it.

Have you seen the Lubegard products do anything bad? I suspect not. For standard ATF, the red bottle is what you want. For trannies where there is any doubt about its history of maintenance, use Subaru ATF with a bottle of red Lubegard. It has worked miracles for me freeing up valves in the past.
