Rim that fit

Found this. Could be useful

Question : are all Subaru rims the same bolt pattern and center hole. 2003 Legacy rim fit an SVX ??.?.
And to compare tire size this works great

No most Subarus are 5x100. It is only the SVX and the STI that are 5x114.3.

Re: Rim that fit

Technically, aren't SVX's 5x114.0 and STI's 5x114.3? I seem to recall reading that here at some point.

I think not. You may be confusing the bolt pattern with the offset; SVX being +55 offset and STI being +53 offset.

Re: Rim that fit

I wouldn't trust that site. I have an Audi A3 2008 which uses a 5 x 112 bolt pattern. The site shows it as 5 x 100.

No. They are 5 x 114.3 (or 4.50 in.) per page 4-2 of the service manual.

Is there such a thing as a 114.0 pattern?

Re: Rim that fit

A quick glance around the web suggests that Hyundai and BMW have been known to use 5x114.0 and Chrysler's used 5x115.0.

You'd think that automakers wouldn't mind a little bit of convention!

Re: Rim that fit

Will 38 to 45 work on the SVX
SVX says 42to50
Is it that tight of dim? 42 min. And 38 is to little. Will that mean it will stick out farther or rub the suspension ?

GM uses 5x115 on several of there FWD cars, though 5x114.3 will fit as long as your rim is not bolt centric. and even then it generally works.
That would go for 5.x114 as well.

Good to know. I never bothered to check up on that, I just recall reading it at some point on an svx site and took it heart. My gods, everything you read online isnt always correct?!?
