Question Thermo fan question

Hi all.

It is summer here in Australia. My question is: Do the SVX thermo fans activate while the car and ignition are off? i.e. after driving.

My 89 Honda Prelude did do this and I always thought it was a good idea.

I know if I have the ignition ON the fans sometimes switch on after driving, but I want to know if they can do it by themselves?

My new aluminium 5 pass radiator is seemingly awesome by the way.

Re: Thermo fan question

The radiator fan, or fans can run in with the ignition switch off under certain circumstances. they shouldn't continue to run for long and will should turn themselves off.
