1stsubaru experience

I just ordered from them and talked to Scott over the phone for the order on Friday.

No complaints, answered my emails quickly and any issues/questions I had were resolved!

Best customer service I've had in a long time.

In fact, I feel like adding more parts to my order when monday rolls around to see if I can get it int he same order.

Only a couple of things I wish for: their parts and accessories catalog use the same shopping basket(subaruparts has same problem)

I wish they had near the same diagrams as subaruparts.com

I wish their svxparts.com site was a little more personalized, than goign to 1stsubaruparts.com

I've been ordering parts from 1stsubaruparts.com. I like the prices and the service. Somebody actually answers the phone and they are very helpful. So far, I am a satisfied customer.

I ordered the same part from 1stSubaruparts.com and Subaruparts.com. I ordered both within 5 minutes, and both online. I got the parts from both within a day of each other. One was shipped US Mail, and the other came UPS.

I think it was Scott I talked to, the week before the Indy meet when I ordered a part for my antenna. I mentioned to him about the SVX Meet in Indiana. He was asking for the date, then he felt bad because they were actually planning to be there and take some SVX parts to sell, but it was too late for them to plan for it because there was not enough time. He forgot all about it.

Subaruparts.com order from February

I'm still waiting for my Brat's midpipe from subaruparts.com. Ordered February 21st. Online it says it will arrive in 5-10 days and then be mailed out. Said that for 5 months now. Hee hee. That credit card has been tore up and discarded now so no worries here. I did send a nice letter to the BBB.

I've ordered a bunch of stuff from 1stsubaruparts and subaruparts.com in the past few months. Fast shipping from both and no big screwups so far. I usually just pick whoever is cheapest.
The only screwy things so far have been a price switch and not getting enough washers for the valve covers.
I ordered a radiator from 1stsubaruparts mainly because it was listed as $280 on their website but they upped the price (probably realized they made a mistake) and called me to let me know before shipping it. I ordered gaskets and washers from subaruparts.com but the site incorrectly listed the number of washers needed and I had to reuse a couple old ones when I came up short.

I don't know if I just have bad luck or what but when I ordered my drivers side marker light and drivers side taillight assembilies from 1stSubaruParts.com the former one had to be shipped in from Japan. They didn't call me about it and it took two weeks for the taillight. That was a month ago. On the recipt it says that they did ship it and I'm going to call them in the morning for the third time to see if it's "still" in their stockroom. Of course, right after I got my taillight I ordered 6 dash illum. lights and they came within 7 business days. I'm still torn, I love that I can talk to a person and make things happen but somehow the "things" don't seem to be happening...

Allright! Scott just sent me a tracking number for my part. I will use them again, even if they were a little pain at first...

SVXParts.com Web Site

Sorry about the diagrams on the SVXParts.com site. Those belong to SubaruParts.com and there is nothing I can do about it. I would love to have them on SVXParts.com, but around here, we are using a different system and we cannot get them (yet). Besides the site looking like crap, what other things would you guys like to see done with SVXParts.com?

Let me know,

C. Scott Williams

Ps. FlagstaffSVX -- Sorry for the delay!

No problemo Scott. Out here in Flagstaff you kinda get used to delays on shipping as everything is shipped to Phoenix first. If I send a letter to my neighboor it goes to Phoenix, then back up here. (two hours both ways) I'm just glad that all my parts are here now. Thanks for the help in identifying those lightbulbs for the dash buttons, they were really driving me nuts.
'Till next time,

The only thing I'd like to see is if an item is in stock when ordering online. If not an expected shipping date. Other than that the site is great.

Sometimes I find it a little hard to locate a part online but when ever I call they figure out what parts I need.
