brake fluid symptoms

I'm going to take this to a shop on monday, but I'm just wondering about your opinions.

I took the SVX to California Speedway last week for a track event(very fun, very hot, very scary at first)

And noticed my brake fluid was low and saw signs of leaking.
I parked it overnight and had my brake light come on the next day. The fluid was almost empty. I filled it up and that seemed to fix the problem.

All this time, fluid seemed clean.

Today I noticed that there were very weird particles in the brake fluid, so much so that it was almost opaque.

I brought it a 76 gas station (its a saturday!)
and they soaked up the resevoir with a rag and filled it with fresh fluid.

I drived about 5-10 miles and check teh fluid again, and its almsot back to the same murky opaque color.

Now I wouldnt be worried if it was just murky, but there are definate signs particles in there.

I dare say it almost looks like miso soup .

Any idea whats contaminating my fluid and where it is leaking?
There are signs of wetness right under the resevoir, but I dont see anything obviously leaking.(maybe all those sideways g's spilled some fluid from under the cap.)

The braking power seems a little off, may be my imagination.

The worst part is that I need to take an urgent 400 mile trip today and all the shops I called said to bring it in on monday.

Re: brake fluid symptoms

I have no idea what the problem is, but I would take it in and have them check for leaks. If there are none, or after having the leak fixed, I would then have them do a complete fluid replacement. That shouldn't cost more than about 40 bucks.
