rims - all year round?

is there any reason why a person wouldn't put rims on their car all year long? do they need to be taken off in the winter?

They don't need to be taken off, but most people get summer only tires for they're rims. Also salt is not good on some rims.

I use mine year-round. If you live where your local DOT gravels the roads in the winter, the rims will take somewhat of a thrashing in the winter though if you drive at highway speeds.

Stock rims with snow tires for the winter, nice custom rims with summer/all seasonish tired for the rest of the year.
