Re: Bontrager Works 22mm rear sway bar kit

Definitely interested in getting one of these. Wouldn't mind paying half up front to reserve one. Do let me know when it is time. I am not on the forum much these days so a PM will be great.

Yes, I do plan on making more bars soon, very soon actually.

I actually have ten more in my posession as we speak. I haven't worked my magic on them yet, but the metal shop is done with them. Hopefully I can get to them this week still, and if not, then defintely next week. And that means they'd probably be available for sale in about 3 weeks to a month.

One has already been paid for, so I will only have 9 for sale, but I imagine the price will still be the same. I haven't finalized the price difference between the two styles of endlinks yet, but I am still looking for a good place to buy the OEM style link (what I'll call the "street" link) in bulk and save a bit.

So, if you're interested in one of these badboys, start saving your money. I'll have them in this portion of the forum again, and the terms will be the same. So if you want to familiarize yourself with how it works, just go back to the first post of this thread and re-read it.

Sorry to keep you all waiting, but yes I have bars in the works, and no I haven't forgotten about you all!

happy motoring!

nevin

p.s. I am currently withOUT a computer, so if I don't answer messages right away, please give me some time. I WILL get back to you, so don't worry.
Hi, any progress yet?

Was the noisy end link deal ever addressed? The roads are so bumpy here all I hear is "clunkclank" and I look around to see if any cute girls are looking at me as if I'm driving a lemon.

Same here, It's embarassing. I drive on a lot of dirt roads to get to work and it's driving me insane. I drove with the back seat folded down and it's exponentially worse.
I'm about ready to put the stocker back on just because of the noise.

Re: Bontrager Works 22mm rear sway bar kit

I wouldn't trade mine for anything. Noise? that's what loud stereos and exhaust are for :P

I do plan on adjusting my links to try for a little more preload to see if it quells the noise a little.

I'm also going to try tightening the preload before I give up. Maybe even grease the heck out of them and put on the largest shrink tubing known to man to seal them up.

If you put the stock end links back on, you may end up experiencing what I did: broken end links. I went through two set of stockers with this sway bar before I pulled the sway bar out. I think the aftermarket sway bar end links for an Infinity sounds like is the way to go. There's a Moog part # floating around here some where.

For what it is worth, my whole set up is working great and I am very pleased with how the overall balance of the car is at this point.

Re: Bontrager Works 22mm rear sway bar kit

Anyone have the Moog part# for the aftermarket Infinity endlinks which work? The noise is unbearable but I love the handling.
